
Purpose:
MLC exists as a conduit of the transforming grace of God by making disciples of Jesus and responsible church members. In order to do this, Outreach Ministry reaches out to others in our community, State, Country and throughout the world.
MLC actively supports outreach activities in our community.
We regularly collect nonperishable food items in support of the different community food closets. Also, we participate in the annual Divide Christmas Basket project that provides food, gifts, and other items to those in need at Christmas time. In December 2009, MLC sponsored the children’s craft booth at the annual Christmas in Coloma. This provided an opportunity to make our presence in Coloma more widely known. MLC sponsors regular events for the men at Progress House here in Coloma, including a special Christmas Party and movie night for them.
MLC provides ongoing support to the following ministries outside our community through missionaries and organizations:
Mitch & Tami McEfee are serving with American Missionary Fellowship (AMF). Mitch is Director of Forward Bible Camp located above
T.J. & Charissa Morris also serve with AMF as full-time camp missionaries at Forward Bible Camp. They have brought a lot of talent and energy to the camp ministry.

Chelsea Cummins is serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship here in the foothills.
Tim Thompson serves with the Sierra Law Enforcement Chaplaincy here in
Gary Hunter is the Executive Director, Global Ministries for the Evangelical Free Church (EFC) and is based out of
Gil Stieglitz is Director of the Western District of Evangelical Free Church and is located in the
Kevin & Yvonne Clark, working in church planting ministry among the Hispanics in the
Narendar Digal with India Evangelistic Association and Dilip Patnayak with Orissa Follow-up are indigenous missionaries in the state of
Juan & Bertha Martinez are serving with Village Missions in
John Aldax, with Missions Door, works with the Navajo. He sponsors our annual youth mission trips to the reservation in
Evangelical Free Church Fair Share Ministries is an interdependent partnership between MLC, district, national and international ministries, such as church planting, training for indigenous pastors, sending out of new missionaries, and providing support for disaster relief.
