OUR VISION
Our vision is to see all people who call Mother Lode Church their home use
their God-given gifts and skills to further our ministries.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different
kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but
the same God works all of them in all men. I Corinthians 12:4-6
The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts
are many, they form one body…in fact God has arranged the parts in the body,
every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. I Corinthians 12:12,18
OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose is to support all the ministries at Mother Lode Church by being
wise stewards of all that God has provided.
PROJECTS
The Riverside Project was initiated in 1995 to build a new multi-purpose worship and activity center. The center is to be 8,000 square feet is to seat approximately 550.
In addition to the worship and activity center, the Riverside Project included making improvements on the existing church. Like adding temporary Sunday school classrooms, building and landscaping two paved parking lots, and to install a commercially designed septic system.
To date we have made improvements to the existing church which include the temporary classrooms, installed the commercially designed septic system, and have built one of the two paved parking lots.
While the parking lot was being built, the fire hydrant was moved closer to the church as it is today. When this was done, it was tested to see how much water it was able to put out only to discover that it did not meet code. So, in order to continue the project we have to install fire suppression water tanks. We are currently working with an engineering firm to determine how large the tanks must be. Lord willing, the tanks will be installed this year.
Within one to two years after the fire suspension tanks are installed, we hope to build and landscape the paved parking lot. Another year or so after that, we plan to pour the slab for the new multi-purpose worship and activity center. Then shortly after that is completed, we will begin the construction of the center.
