Outreach
Elder - Pastor Ed Kennedy
Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38
Ministry Director - Connie Eaton
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
MLC exists as a conduit of the transforming work of God by making disciples of Jesus and responsible church members. To do this, we desire to reach others in our community, State, Country and throughout the world.
MLC actively supports outreach activities in our community. We regularly collect nonperishable food items in support of the different community food closets. Also, we participate in the annual Divide Christmas Basket project that provides food, gifts, and other items to those in need at Christmas time. In December 2009, MLC sponsored the children’s craft booth at the annual Christmas in Coloma. This provided an opportunity to make our presence in Coloma more widely known. MLC sponsors regular events for the men at Progress House here in Coloma, including a special Christmas Party and movie night for them.
MLC provides ongoing support to the following ministries outside our community through missionaries and organizations.
