OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to encourage men to pursue Christ likeness in their lives through study of the scriptures, prayer, and service to believers, fellowship and evangelism.


ACTIVITES NOW:


PROGRESS HOUSE

Progress House is a local organization established to assist those with substance addictions. Mother Lode Church has the unique opportunity to minister to the needs of these men, through regularly scheduled meetings.


TROWEL & SWORD

“..those who were rebuilding…with one hand doing the work and the other holding a [sword]” Nehemiah 4:16

We would like to focus a group of men who have a burden to meet the manual labor needs of those in our church and community, including but not limited to wood for winter heating.


ELIJAH SUMMIT

“…the effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:16

This annual two and a half day event is much more than a retreat. It is a time personal and corporate prayer.


GATEWAY GATHERINGS

These quarterly gatherings are to provide you an opportunity to study the word, fellowship with men and find out how you can get involved at Mother Lode Church.


ACTIVITIES DESIRED:


PRAYER TEAMS

“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit and with this in view, be on alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18

These teams consist of men who are committed to praying on a regular basis for the pastor, weekly services and the various ministries of Mother Lode Church.


MEN’S BIBLE STUDY

“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman, who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

This is a weekly Bible study that focuses on issues of spiritual growth, prayer and fellowship.


OTHER EVENTS

We will be offering other events and outreaches throughout the year. We need men to help in areas of promotion, set-up and take-down, cooking, administration and much more.
